A business acquaintance of mine recently floored me with news that she is in Europe, on her way to hike 600 miles on El Camino de Santiago in Spain. She describes herself as “a 29yo workaholic currently on hiatus to travel the Camino de Santiago and embrace the maplessness of life.” I’m enjoying her travel blog, and you might like it, too: The Mapless Pilgrim. Part of the attraction such a journal has for me is that no one, including the author, knows how it will end.
Good for her! Some of us manage to make an adventure out of spending a single afternoon on a trail in the next county. I have to tip my cap to this friend whose adventure is taking her on an unfamiliar faraway path for 40 days. I hope you join me in wishing her well.
