Along the Nashua River

This was a fine day for a bike trip on a favorite trail not far from my home. Twenty-some-odd miles, out and back. The route is flat, parklike, and unspectacular. Loving it will never earn me any points for being adventurous or intrepid or brave. But love it I do.

A hike (or a bike ride) doesn’t have to be a faraway thing. Sometimes the best afternoons are the ones I spend close to home.
